Procurement Engineer - Drive Strategic Sourcing for World Class Automation Equipment

Must be able to speak Mandarin and be able to travel to China

Were looking for a Procurement Engineer to lead sourcing and supply chain strategy for our cutting-edge automation systems. Youll oversee and become the expert when it involves the full procurement lifecycle ensuring optimal cost quality and delivery for critical components. You will also collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute the full procurement process ensuring alignment with project requirements cost constraints quality standards delivery deadlines while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Secure a reliable supply chain while ensuring competitive access to both existing and emerging technologies in the market.

Monitor market and sales trends adapting procurement strategies to stay ahead of the competition and respond to shifting supply dynamics.

Analyze procurement data to drive informed decision-making and identify continuous improvement opportunities within sourcing and procurement processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and enhance procurement systems for greater efficiency.

Qualifications:

Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

5 years of experience in procurement preferably in the engineering/automation industry.

Should be familiar with the buying process logistics pricing structures and lead times.

Good written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements.

Ability to prioritize and excellent negotiation skills

Able to read engineering drawings.
