Senior Cybersecurity Engineering Specialist (Hybrid)

Were seeking someone to join our Customer Authentication team as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineering Specialist in Cyber to be responsible for ensuring the authentication of E*TRADEs ten million plus customers is fast and secure and to modernize our supported authentication factors and infrastructure for all.

This is a Cyber Security Engineering position at Director level which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organizations systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What youll do in the role:

• Provide identity and access management frameworks through a set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) designed to ensure development teams can easily create customer interactions that are secure dynamic and seamless.

• Design architecture implementation enhancement and maintenance of a key multitier application for ForgeRock Access Manager solutions (including authentication authorization and federation protocols).

• Work alongside cross-functional teams including developers architects and product owners to gather requirements present design and analyze and solution inter-team dependencies.

• Create and implement testing strategies and plans to ensure thorough coverage via unit and integration tests of Access Manager code and functionality.

• Focus on simplifying the developer experience at E*TRADE.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues ensuring timely resolution.

• Contribute to defining improving review guidelines and norms. Conduct code review adhering to team norms coding standards and best practices.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture configuration and processes.

• Stay updated on industry trends and ForgeRock product updates to formulate development strategies and design.

What youll bring to the role:

• 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity preference in Identity and Access Management

• Good understanding and hands-on experience with ForgeRock Identity suite (Access Manager functionalities and its various modules) or similar tools (e.g. Okta Transmit etc.)

• Proven experience with Java Spring Boot JavaScript and related technologies.

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design.

• Thorough knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (e.g. OAuth OpenID Connect SAML LDAP etc.).

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex test scenarios.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
