BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a forty (40) hour training program incorporating basic regulatory compliance and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker DCW graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice.

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers DCW:
- Successfully complete 40 Hour Direct Care Worker Course provided by BAYADA
Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers DCW:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature pulse respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry meal preparation bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
