Job Summary

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform testing and analysisthroughouttheshift on all production linesto ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards under the supervision oftheQuality&Food Safety Manager.

Assist the Quality&Food Safety team in conducting monthly plant inspections including GMP walkthroughs and specific Glass & Brittle Plastic audits to mitigate contamination risks.

Utilize the companys Redzone system to ensure that quality tasks arebeing completedon time and accurately.

Assistswith the non-conforming product program with a focus on internal defects ensuringaccuratedocumentation and reporting results totheQuality&Food Safety Manager.

Ensure department tasks are done accurately and in a safetimelyfashion.

Champion a culture ofquality andsafety by strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)and sanitation protocols.

Other organizational functions as directed bythe Quality & Food SafetyManager.

Qualifications:

Two years of quality assuranceinmanufacturing preferably in food manufacturing.

Some familiarity withthird-partyaudit functions including AIB or similar audit groups.

Proficiencywith iPad-based data entry or Manufacturing execution systems (Redzone experience is a plus).

Training in root causeanalysis (5 Whys).

Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold standards.

PhysicalRequirements and Environmental Exposures:

The physical demands for this position are seeing hearing speakingin addition to the following:

Able to work8-hourshifts while standing lifting bending and reaching

Must be able to work on your feetforover 9 straight hours

Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive andlift upto30 lbs. on a regular basis

Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift

These physical requirements must beaccomplishedwith or without reasonable accommodation.

The environmental exposures for this position are:

The target annual base salary range for this position is $23 $25. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including the applicants qualifications years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education certifications or licenses other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors and the geographic location of the addition to base pay individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
