Contract Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity Outpatient ClinicLocation: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care CenterContract Duration: September 1 2025 August 31 2030Shifts: Rotating 8- or 12-hour weekday shifts with 4-hour weekend shiftsOn-Call/Standby: Not requiredContract StructureBase Period: 6 months (September 1 2025 February 28 2026)Optional Extensions: Up to nine (9) additional 6-month option periods (total of 5 years)Open Positions: Three (3) Registered Nurses for outpatient clinic servicesKey ResponsibilitiesConduct patient assessments and coordinate outpatient care plansAdminister medications and treatments including IVs oral medications and injectionsOperate basic clinical equipment such as EKG machines blood pressure monitors and glucometersEducate patients and families on preventive health and rehabilitation practicesAccurately document all care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with facility standardsCollaborate with physicians nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionalsDeliver professional respectful and culturally competent patient careAssist with phone calls and appointment scheduling as neededFacility ScheduleWeekdays: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMWeekends: 1:00 PM 5:00 PMShifts are assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee and may vary based on facility needsMinimum RequirementsActive unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territoryCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAt least one (1) year of RN experienceCompliance with all health and immunization requirements prior to start including:MMR Varicella Hepatitis B Influenza and TdapAll medical documentation must be submitted before contract start dateOpportunity SummaryThis is a long-term outpatient-focused government contract with consistent hours and no on-call requirements.
