What You Will Do
As part of development journey you will rotate across Johnson Controls key products solutions and business portfolios. This rotational pathway strengthens your technical foundation customer engagement skills and commercial awareness while giving you a holistic understanding of the builtenvironment ecosystem. You will gain exposure across:
- HVAC
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Fire & Security Solutions
- Performance Contracting
- Portfolios across the Built Environment including data centers government facilities healthcare institutions and other critical infrastructure segments
Learn & Build Technical Capability
- Participate in a structured onboarding program with dedicated mentors
- Explore HVAC BMS fire & security digital solutions and integrated building technologies
- Understand how these systems connect to deliver energy efficiency sustainability safety and smartbuilding outcomes
Engage with Customers Across Diverse Industries
- Shadow sales engineers and managers during customer visits solution walkthroughs and project discussions
- Observe how technical concepts are translated into customer value propositions
- Gain firsthand insight into industry operations and how Johnson Controls technologies address real business needs
Gain CrossFunctional Exposure
Build a practical understanding of how various teams support the sales and solution lifecycle including:
- Legal
- Procurement
- Project & Service Operations
- Global Center of Excellence
Learn how pricing selections and commercial terms come together to shape a complete customer proposal.
Support Proposal & Solution Development
- Prepare proposals quotations and tender submissions with guidance
- Understand pricing frameworks solution positioning and JCIs competitive differentiators

- Participate in full sales lifecycle from opportunity qualification to proposal project execution and postsales engagement
