Schicker Ford of St. Louis is seeking an experiencedHeavy-Duty AutomotiveDieselTechnicianto join our service department. This role is ideal for a Journeyman Master or Senior Master Technician with strong diagnostic skills and experience working onFordheavy-duty trucks diesel systems and complex repairs.
ASE certification OEM certificationespecially diesel or HD credentialsis strongly preferred butwerealso open to technicians looking to grow into advanced Ford certifications with paid training.
This position is NOT fornon-experienced or beginners.

Key Responsibilities
Performheavy-duty and advanced mechanical repairsaccording to repair orders with precision and efficiency
Diagnose and repairFord gasoline and diesel powertrains including engine transmission drivetrain electrical steering suspension brakes and HVAC
Utilizeadvanced diagnostic tools and Ford-specific equipment
Test-drive vehicles to verify concerns and completed repairs
Completewarranty and recall workin compliance with Ford OEM standards
Communicate clearly with Service Advisorsregardingdiagnostics repair needs and timelines
Maintain a clean organized and safety-focused work area
Qualifications
ASE Certification Required(Ford OEM certification preferred)
Heavy-Duty and/or Diesel Experience Strongly Preferred
Missouri State Inspector License (preferred)
Proven diagnostic and advanced repair experience
Strong understanding of Ford systems and repair procedures
Ability to work efficiently whilemaintaininghigh-quality standards
Strong communicationand problem-solving skills
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Physical requirements:
Must be able tolift upto 50lbs
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing walking climbing bending pushing pulling and twisting over surfacesand vehicles.
Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes face masks safety glasses hearing protection a hard hatand gloves whenrequired
Ability to work in hot cold noisy dusty wet environmental working conditions
Need to be able to work in a tobacco free environment
