About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients the hospital offers all private beds a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope

Under site designate leader and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment independent judgment ingenuity and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Beaumont philosophy of patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree-Graduate of Joint Review Commitment on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography Program.
Successful completion of a certified class for breast imaging ultrasound.
2 years of relevant experience Preferred.
CRT-Radiographer (R) ARRT Upon Hire Required
CRT-Mammography (M) ARRT-Upon Hired Required
CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) -ARRT-1 year Required
Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
