Job Summary

Title:

Electronics Tech

Responsibilities include:

Proficient in the use of laboratory band tools test equipment and computer-operated facility equipment.
Assists other higher-level technicians and engineers in the performance of their work.
Performs other related duties as required
Performs a variety of technical duties under supervision including the fabrication assembly testing modifications and operation of complex electrical and electronic circuits and equipment.
Performs operational tests and adjustments of complex electrical and electronic equipment using standard test setups in accordance with printed or generally accepted test procedures. Maintains laboratory records as appropriate.
Reads and interprets schematic diagrams wiring diagrams wire lists waveforms and diagnostic results and relates to overall equipment or systems functions.
Makes complex repairs including the replacement of component parts. Fabricates and assembles complex components in accordance with precise detailed instructions in a repetitive and consistent manner.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related field or military technical training program or completion of a technical institute program.
Two years of direct experience as an electronic technician
Must be able to assemble parts per drawing packages or through direction from higher-level technicians or engineers.
Soldering and crimping experience
Minimum of six (6) years of experience directly related to Engineering Technology or related field or military technical training
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance

Basic Compensation:

$50000 to $70000

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus relocation benefits short-term incentives long-term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
