At Sommers Automotive we take pride in providing a well-equipped facility reliable workflow and opportunities to grow. We are currently seeking an Accessories Technician (C-Level Technician) to join our service department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install vehicle accessories and aftermarket equipment (running boards tonneau covers hitches splash guards trim electronics etc.)
• Perform basic mechanical repairs and reconditioning tasks as assigned
• Complete used vehicle inspections and accessory installations efficiently and accurately
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and maintenance as needed
• Use basic diagnostic tools and service equipment appropriately and accurately
• Maintain an organized and safe work area

• Ability to follow repair procedures and installation instructions

POSITION DETAILS

• Full-Time
• Hours: MondayFriday 6:30 AM 4:00 PM
• Every 4th Saturday: 7:30 AM 12:00 PM

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid drivers license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 12 years of automotive mechanical or related hands-on experience preferred

Preferred:

• Previous accessories installation experience
• Entry-level automotive certifications or technical schooling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
• Lift 50 lbs. or more safely and repeatedly
• Bend stoop kneel and work in various positions

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a busy automotive dealership service department with modern equipment and tools. Youll work alongside a professional supportive team!
