Our Legal department supports all Point72 groups globally with practical advice on a variety of complex legal and regulatory matters in an ever-changing dynamic environment.
What youll do
- Help design executive compensation frameworks that support the firms ability to attract and retain top leadership talent
- Draft and advise on executive compensation matters including but not limited to employment agreements and offer letters for investment professionals and senior management long-term incentive compensation and deferred compensation
- Assist with non-compete structure and documentation
- Monitor and advise on evolving legal tax and regulatory developments affecting executive compensation.
- Translate complex legal issues into practical guidance for business leaders across Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams
Whats required
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar
- 7 years of experience in executive compensation with experience in the financial services industry
- Capacity to multitask effectively prioritize and stay organized in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate autonomously and see projects and activities through to completion escalating issues as deemed necessary
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Superb attention to detail and the tenacity to produce meticulous work product
- Relevant tax expertise in the compensation space
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
