Job Summary
Biomed Equipment Worker ( Entry )-Mount Sinai Morningside
Moves equipment in need of repair or preventive maintenance from user areas to Biomedical Engineering facilities
Responsibilities
- Moves equipment which has received service from Biomedical Engineering facilities to user areas
- Cleans equipment including but not limited to exterior surfaces wheel sand casters IV poles cases filters and stands and mounting brackets
- Performs electrical safety tests including all necessary documentation on all equipment serviced by the Biomedical Engineering department
- Performs simple repairs including but not limited to power plug and line cord replacement and mechanical work
Qualifications
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Minimum of three years experience in biomedical position required.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $35.67 - $35.67 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
