Summary:

Teledyne is looking for an Engineering Technician to support engineering teams in the design testing and assembly of prototype systems and specialized test equipment. This hands-on role involves working with analog digital and video circuits applying engineering principles to ensure performance and reliability.
What you will do
- Assist engineers with layout design and troubleshooting of electronic units.
- Conduct functional environmental and life-cycle tests on prototypes and production models.
- Analyze test data and adjust/calibrate components to optimize performance.
- Assemble and maintain electronic systems using schematics blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Perform preventative maintenance and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Provide technical support and user education for new and existing equipment.
- Maintain documentation and system logs as required.
What you will bring
- High school diploma required; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electronics or electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of electronic theory circuitry and testing equipment (oscilloscopes DVMs signal generators etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ISO/AS9100 standards.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies.
- Working knowledge of design analysis or ERP software.

Salary Range:
$48200.00-$64300.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
