The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Customer Engineering - Feature Management. This position will be located in either Everett WA or Renton WA.
Feature Management Customer Engineers collaborate with Airplane/Product Development and Airplane Programs on new features in alignment with BCA strategies. They lead the integration and alignment of feature strategy development and offer ability on all Airplane areas of focus: Cabin Systems (including In Flight Entertainment and Connectivity) Cabin Interior Airframe and Flight Deck/Operations (Avionics) environments.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and/or Senior Level Software Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and manage configuration tools feature strategies and offering structures to enable airplane configuration definition.
Use customer knowledge data analytics regulatory in-service and production insight and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value.
Communicate feature and product offering and significant configuration change information to customers and Customer Engineering Account Managers.
Provide Programs customers and configuration teams with feature strategy customer and industry knowledge airplane configuration data and feature product information.
Ensure Boeing leads the industry by providing technical advancements that result in increased market share and profit for the Boeing Company.
Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally at approximately 10% of the time as needed.
Work Authorization Statement:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Everett WA or Renton WA location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
9 or more years of engineering experience in Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Experience in customer or supplier-facing roles.
Masters degree in Engineering or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Experienced (Level 3): $119850 - $162150
Senior (Level 4): $146200 - $197800
