Strawberry is on a journey of transforming our People tech landscape. We are looking for a experienced and hands-onDirector of People Digitalization to lead our People Systems & Digitalization team.
The People Systems & Digitalization team serves as the business owner of our people technology maintaining system support and master data quality. Its also the home of our job architecture compensation & benefit structures. Today the team owns our HRIS and Time & Attendance systems (Workforce Management). The team also manages our data products and compensation & benefits frameworks. Working closely with tech payroll and the rest of the people team youll be responsible for planning implementation and governance of our entire People Tech Stack. Youll ensure systems are robust data quality is exceptional and our digitalization roadmap drives business value for our hotels.
The ideal candidate is aplayer-coach.You are ready to guide the team on this transformation journey while also being willing to work hands on alongside your team. Youre pragmatic with the ability to prioritize progress over perfection.
Youll lead a newly established team and area within Strawberry and play a central role in defining how we work. The role has 3 direct reports 1 matrix report and one dedicated role from tech (people platform owner). Youll report to the VP People Experience and be located either in Oslo or Stockholm. Youll need to travel between locations on a regular basis to be present for your distributed team.

Together with your team you will work on:
- Strategy & change management: Work alongside the People platform owner from tech to build and plan the people tech roadmap. You will represent the People function in business cases and tender processes and activelyparticipate hands-on in People tech projects including system design configuration testing and data cleaning to name a few. This role defines and owns the People-side business ownership of People Tech including requirements priorities data quality and functional governance while Tech owns the underlying platform architecture integrations and technical delivery. You will also drive the change in workstreams related to communications training and collaboration.
- High quality data and insights: Youll own and safeguard People master data quality. Youll serve as the internal advisor on data utilization for reporting and ensure full compliance with regulations (e.g. Pay parity CSRD ARP). Liaison with the DPO to ensure we have data privacy top of mind in all areas of our people tech. Youll also drive strategic decision-making by collaborating with the data product team to deliver dashboards and insights.
- System Stability & Support: Ensure a stable and highly efficient support model for our HRIS and associated systems managing vendors and contingency plans. You will use support data to drive system improvements (e.g. automation training) and be prepared to providefirst and second-line support when necessary.
- Comp & ben: Oversee and improve the annual Compensation & Benefits cycle with a range of stakeholders. Youll focus on improving and automating processes using system support where possible standardizing keeping policies up to date and improving how we communicate employee benefits.
- Job architecture and salary benchmarking:Youll ensure we have an updated and well implemented job architecture and professionalize how we use salary benchmarking and salary data.

- Experience with people tech- owning maintaining and/or implementing people systems in complex environments
- Experience driving change- project or program management working on business cases project plans and change management (training & comms)
- Experience working in agile environments - We learn as we go and get going rather than planning for every scenario
- Experience or interest in working with data products and/or comp & ben including job architecture
- Experience building servicesfor a non-desk using workforce (We have more than 16.000 employees at our hotels!)
- Language: You dont have to be fluent in Norwegian or Swedish but we ask that you are on a journey to mastering one of the languages and have a basic understanding of one of them.
