What Youll Be Doing
- Operate a front-end loader to safely and efficiently feed the crushing plant and load trucks while reporting directly to the Production Supervisor or Plant Management.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections perform routine maintenance and promptly report equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain clean organized work areas and ensure roads and berms meet or exceed MSHA standards.
- Support general pit maintenance activities including grading dust control and drainage.
- Ensure all pit operations comply with company safety policies and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production needs pit conditions and equipment performance.
- Assist in training and mentoring new pit loader operators to promote a culture of safety and accountability.

- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment especially front-end loaders.

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to identify and report equipment issues promptly.
- Willingness to train and mentor new operators as needed.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check.
- Compliance with all company safety policies and federal regulations is required.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
