This role will be supporting undergraduate students enrolled in the online Surgical Technology program at clinical sites in the Milwaukee area by rounding and instructing. This role requires an individual to be onsite at the various clinical sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline Masters degree in a related discipline is preferred
- Be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency Posses a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCAA)
- Have at least 2 years of experience in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology (or a combination of both) within the past 5 years
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills necessary to maintain positive professional interactions with students alumni faculty and employer partners.
Preferred:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively to individuals and groups.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstratesknowledge of programmatic accreditation and regulatory standards established by CAAHEP for Surgical Technology programs.
Compensationis determined based on the qualifications experience and circumstances of each hire. New employees are to start near bottom portion of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program health insurance paid time off and a retirement savings plan with company match. The salary range for this position is $64000 to $85000.
