Agency Executive Assistant
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Agency Executive Assistant to join a team on a part-time basis with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and fit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agency operations including billing certificates of insurance and administrative support. This role is perfect for someone who is confident competent and looking for a flexible work schedule.
Compensation Package
- Hourly rate: $18 - $25 per hour based on experience
- Part-time: 20-30 hours per week to start
- Potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs
- Additional compensation may be considered for candidates with relevant licensing extensive experience or the ability to bring in new business
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the agency acting as an executive assistant
- Handle agency billing inquiries and coordinate between clients and carriers
- Process and manage certificates of insurance
- Assist with tasks such as swapping autos creating spreadsheets and other administrative duties
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with agency standards
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in agency operations billing or related fields
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in creating and managing spreadsheets
- Confidence and competence in handling administrative tasks independently
- P&C license is not required but is a plus and may lead to higher compensation
- Local candidates are preferred but virtual candidates will be considered
- Ideal for individuals with significant experience in the insurance industry or those seeking a flexible part-time role
