Role Overview: This role ensures strategic alignment technical excellence and operational efficiency across engineering functions supporting business growth and customer success in the India market. This role is critical in driving innovation and sustainability supporting Aggrekos ambition to deliver safe and reliable solutions and differentiating Aggrekos services from those of competitors.
What youll do:
Define and execute India Engineering Strategy aligned with global technical standards and India growth roadmap
Tailor made solutions to suit customer needs and participate in pre-sales activities as technical expert enabling differentiating services from competitors
Lead and mentor and develop a high performing engineering team to meet business objectives across Aggrekos core verticals such as oil & gas mining manufacturing and Data centers. Engineering Leads across sectors fostering collaboration and innovation.
Oversee engineering projects from concept to delivery ensuring quality safety and compliance with industry standards specific to each domain. the development and execution of engineering design packs and process enhancement projects.
Collaborate with Sales Project Management and Operations to develop tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of each vertical such as remote site power for mining temperature control for refining and petrochemical processes. deliver complex and integrated solutions.
Serve as the subject Matter Expert (SME) for engineering solutions in India providing technical leadership and guidance internally and externally.
Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and quality standards in all engineering outputs.
Represent Aggreko in industry forums technical publications and customer engagements.
Foster a culture of innovation teamwork and accountability within the engineering function.
Liaise with global engineering teams to align local activities with global standards and best practices leveraging Aggrekos worldwide expertise.
Support business growth by identifying new engineering opportunities and capabilities within existing and emerging verticals including sustainable energy solutions.
Monitor KPIs and continuously improve engineering performance and customer satisfaction
Build a robust technical governance framework and ensure close coordination with sales
Youll have the following skills and experience:
Bachelors or masters degree in engineering (Chemical Mechanical Electrical).
12 years of experience in industrial applications with 3 years in leadership roles.
Strong technical knowledge of power generation equipment temperature control systems or energy solutions tailored to diverse industrial applications. understanding of multiple sectors (PCR Control Tower etc.).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced customer focused environment. Proficiency in engineering tools (AutoCAD HYSYS ERP systems).
Displays strong business acumen and growth orientation.
Is collaborative accountable and adept at technical problem solving
