The Regional Head Human Resources LATAM is a strategic HR leader and trusted advisor to regional business and functional leaders. Based in Miami this role provides end-to-end HR leadership across LATAM partnering closely with Commercial R&D and Enabling Functions to deliver a strong compliant and future-ready people agenda.
This role reports directly to the Head of HR U.S. LATAM & Global R&D and is a core member of the extended HR leadership team. The position balances strategic partnership transformation leadership and operational excellence while leading and developing HR teams across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to LATAM senior leaders partnering closely to align people strategy with business objectives.
Support regional growth productivity and transformation initiatives through proactive workforce planning and talent strategies.
Influence leadership decisions through strong business acumen data and insight.
Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation
Lead organizational design restructuring and operating model evolution across LATAM.
Drive transformation initiatives aligned with global and regional priorities.
Champion effective change management ensuring employee engagement adoption and business continuity.
Talent & Leadership
Lead talent management across LATAM including:
Talent reviews and succession planning
Leadership development and capability building
Critical role and key talent retention
Partner with Talent Acquisition and COEs to attract and retain high-impact talent.
Build a strong leadership pipeline aligned with Galdermas growth ambitions.
HR Operations Governance & Compliance
Ensure flawless execution of core HR processes including performance management merit cycles promotions and talent initiatives.
Oversee employee relations labor relations and compliance with local labor laws and regulations across LATAM.
Act as the senior HR authority on sensitive employee matters investigations and risk management.
Partner with Legal Finance and HR Operations to ensure strong governance and controls.
Regional HR Leadership
Lead coach and develop the LATAM HR leadership team fostering a high-performance inclusive culture.
Strengthen HR capability ways of working and collaboration across countries.
Serve as the primary LATAM HR interface with global HR COEs and HR Operations.
What Youll Bring
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
12 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure across:
Talent management
Organizational effectiveness
Compensation & benefits
Employee and labor relations
Proven experience supporting regional or global commercial organizations in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated success leading complex HR initiatives including restructuring performance cycles merit reviews and incentive programs.
Strong understanding of LATAM employment frameworks labor relations and cultural dynamics.
Experience working with HR systems such as Workday.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience leading HR for LATAM or multi-country regions.
Experience managing and developing HR leaders and teams.
Strong change management and transformation leadership background.
Experience supporting both Commercial and R&D / technical organizations.
