DescriptionTHE OPPORTUNITY
The Greater Baltimore Committeeseeksadetail-oriented proactive and tech-literateadministrative assistant tojointhe Operations assistantwill handlea range of administrative tasks that keep our operations runningsmoothlyleveragingMicrosoft 365 and SharePoint officeAV CRM platformproject management system and other technology. They willplay a crucial rolein coordinating andfacilitatingstrong operations of the organization includingcalendar managementofficeandcross-functionalcoordinationand event support.
In addition to being a critical member of the Operations team this role will specifically supportthe Economic Investment and Strategy teamssupporting scheduling external coordination and project role requiresstrong communicationskillsthe ability to multitaskand prioritizetheabilityto conceptualize and execute complex schedulingandawillingnessto adopt technology and learn. The ideal candidate isatrue team player ready to support a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a liaison betweenthe Operations teamother GBC teamsandexternal partnersand stakeholders;
- Coordinateand support preparation and follow up frommeetingsretreats andteambuildingactivitiesconferencesandevents;
- Manage calendars for team membersincludingschedulingappointments meetingsand conveningsand coordinate travel arrangements;
- Prepare edit and format documents reports and presentations;
- Leveragetechnology toolsandsupport datacapture and qualityin GBCs core systems supporting GBCs technology transformation roadmap( SharePoint );
- Coordinate cross-functionally and gather relevant data and input to support decision-making;
- Other duties as assigned including handlinggeneral administrative card reconciliationemailcorrespondencephone inquiries and supporting preparations of grant applications and reports.
RequirementsPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) certificate at minimumrequired;
- 3 years experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similarEA or coordinatorrole;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Comfort navigating digital tools and open to learningnew MS Office Suite Salesforceand other relevant softwareis a plus;
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality;
- Experience working inadynamicandfast-pacedenvironment.
