Summary:
Reporting to the Director Patient Access Services the Director Continuity of Care the Manager Continuity of Care or the Patient Access Supervisor the Patient Access Representative (PAR) provides exceptional customer service to Care Dimensions patients families and referral sources. The PAR works with both active and prospective patients and can educate/explain all services offered. The PAR is responsible for answering phone calls registering patients for all business lines and ensuring the caller is sent to the appropriate department/team if transferring is necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required Associates Degree preferred. Minimum one (1) to three (3) years work experience in a health care or medical office environment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge and skills needed for the position.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and healthcare specific systems and databases required.
- Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maturity.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and the public personally and by telephone.
The Pay Range listed is the anticipated hiring range of this position. Precise pay rates are determined through consideration of one or more of the following: education training relevant experience and work location. There are some cases in which the pay rate could exceed the range listed on this job post. Care Dimensions also offers a comprehensive benefits package including employer-sponsored health insurance paid time-off tuition reimbursement student loan paydown supplemental insurance options and more which adds to the companys generous total rewards package.
