Associate Quality Inspector

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join our team in Wichita KS.

Position Responsibilities:

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements

• Provides objective evidence of results

• Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance

• Under limited supervision inspects incoming parts/material outgoing orders verify that certification is correct checks parts for processing checks special orders daily use of micrometers gauge controls calipers indicators etc. Provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.

• Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.

• Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming products.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2 years of related work experience using of calipers ring/pin gages comparator and Smart scope

• Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures

• Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel)

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Previous aerospace inspection experience

• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements

• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
