Our Edmonton team is pushing boundaries in Computer Vision and Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) for next-generation MEMS devices. What youll do
- Own and improve manufacturing processes for cutting-edge MEMS products.
- Develop and optimize processes to boost efficiency and quality.
- Build and maintain production databases for smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and integrate processes with cross-functional teams.
- Drive cost reduction and yield improvement initiatives.
- Apply computer vision techniques during early development phases.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and accurate documentation.
- Investigate and resolve process issues and non-conformance events.
- Qualify new equipment and support process transfers to manufacturing.
What you need
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (required).
- Knowledge of computer vision methods and software like OpenCV (required).
- Understanding of optics and camera systems (required).
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot hardware (required).
- Familiarity with Python LabVIEW C# and SQL (advantage).
- Experience with MVTec Halcon software (advantage).
- Diploma or degree in Computer Engineering Technology Computer Science or related field (required).
