This highly regarded secondary school educates approximately 1500 students aged 1118 and has an excellent reputation for academic success exemplary behaviour and strong pastoral care. The school consistently achieves results above national averages with particularly strong outcomes in Mathematics at both GCSE and A-Level.
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted the school places a strong emphasis on professional development staff wellbeing and high-quality teaching. The leadership team is experienced approachable and highly supportive of Early Career Teachers.
The Mathematics department is well-resourced collaborative and forward-thinking with shared planning strong schemes of work and excellent outcomes. Students are motivated and ambitious and behaviour for learning is exceptional.
The successful ECT will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to develop towards KS5 teaching in the future. You will be supported through a comprehensive ECT induction programme including mentoring reduced timetable regular CPD and peer observation.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Enthusiastic reflective and committed to professional development
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Eligibility to work in the UK
Paid on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) with excellent ECT support mentoring and long-term progression opportunities.
