Job Summary

SHIFT: 7p-7a. RATIO: 1:5 EXP: 1 year medsurg experience requried. DESCRIPTION: Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment nursing diagnosis patient care plans provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Develop systems to provide care to a population including infants children adolescents adults and geriatrics. Must be willing to float to other Med-Surg units if necessary. Preparing administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings inserting catheters and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
