Project Tech Stack & Environment
E-Commerce Platform: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware)
Front-End Framework: Primarily React (with some legacy use of ISML jQuery and native JS)
Backend-for-Frontend (BFF): microservices
Content & Experience Management: Salesforce Experience Cloud (CMS)
Mobile: Native iOS and Android applications
In-Store Technology: Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) Point of Sale (POS) systems and various clienteling tools.
DevOps & Cloud: CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab monitoring with Dynatrace/New Relic cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Tools: Jira Confluence GitHub Akamai.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
7 years of front-end development experience with at least 2 years in a tech lead or people management role.
Deep hands-on expertise in React and the broader React ecosystem (Redux React Query Webpack etc.).
Strong proficiency in and experience building BFFs or server-side rendered applications.
Proven experience working with a major e-commerce platform; direct experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Site Genesis or SFRA architecture is a significant plus.
A solid understanding of omnichannel retail concepts and a passion for solving the unique technical challenges they present.
Experience with cloud platforms preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with mobile development (React Native iOS Android) or PWAs.
Familiarity with in-store retail technology and POS systems.
Experience in a large enterprise-scale retail environment.
Strong understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
