Job Summary

Job Summary:

A skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a 12-week contract in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The PT will manage a daily caseload of 5-8 pediatric patients providing comprehensive physical therapy services. The role requires experience in a multidisciplinary rehab team environment utilizing various equipment to aid in patient recovery and development.
Location:Washington District of Columbia United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients in an inpatient rehab setting.
- Manage a daily caseload of 5-8 patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team.
- Utilize equipment such as parallel bars LiteGait FES aquatic therapy tools wheelchairs standers and adaptive tricycles.
- Document patient progress and treatments in Cerner.
- Meet productivity expectations of 10 half-hour units per day.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- BLS certification.
- Active Physical Therapist license.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with Cerner documentation system.
Special Considerations:

- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- No floating within scope or to sister facilities.
- Open to accommodating block schedules.
Scheduling:
- Day shift.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
