AI-First Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead (Offshore)

About the Role:

This is a senior hands-on technical leadership role for an AI-first Full Stack Developer who uses AI as a true force multiplier-not as a shortcut. You will own system design architecture decisions and end-to-end delivery of production-grade software while leveraging AI-assisted workflows to dramatically increase speed quality and throughput.

This role carries the same accountability as a traditional Senior Tech Lead with an added expectation: AI is central to how you work build and scale. You will independently design systems validate architecture integrate and harden AI-generated code and ship reliable secure applications at scale. This is not a prompt-only or experimental role-you are responsible for production outcomes.

You will work closely with the CEO on technical direction and execution while also leading and mentoring a small offshore engineering team.

What Youll Do:

• Lead end-to-end design development and delivery of production-grade applications using AI-first workflows
• Architect build and maintain scalable secure high-traffic systems including custom CMS and e-commerce platforms
• Use AI tools (e.g. Claude Code or similar) to accelerate development while maintaining strict engineering standards
• Review refactor integrate and productionize AI-generated code into cohesive maintainable systems
• Own the full stack: frontend backend APIs databases and third-party integrations
• Lead and mentor two mid-level developers ensuring execution quality accountability and on-time delivery
• Design and maintain complex CMS solutions for large-scale prescription medication e-commerce systems
• Ensure database integrity performance optimization and long-term scalability
• Partner with DevOps on deployments CI/CD pipelines and environment automation
• Collaborate directly with the CEO on architecture decisions priorities and execution plans
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks security issues and production incidents
• Document systems workflows and architectural decisions clearly for long-term maintainability

What You Bring:

• Senior-level software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping complex production-ready systems
• Deep hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and the ability to deliver output at significantly higher velocity than traditional workflows

• Strong proficiency in:

• Backend: PHP (standalone and framework-based) Python
• Frontend: React
• Databases: MySQL/MariaDB PostgreSQL SQL and NoSQL systems
• APIs: REST and/or GraphQL

• Strong experience with the LAMP stack and database performance tuning
• Solid understanding of:

• System architecture and design patterns
• Deployment environments and configuration management
• DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to critically evaluate rewrite and harden AI-generated code for real-world production use
• High ownership accountability and comfort operating autonomously under deadlines
• Ability to work effectively with US-based leadership and overlapping time zones

Nice to Have:

• Advanced experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding platforms
