Job Summary
The Sales Porter is responsible for supporting the sales department by maintaining the appearance organization and readiness of new and pre-owned vehicles. This role ensures vehicles are clean properly displayed and available for customer test drives contributing to a positive customer experience consistent with Volkswagen brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Move and park vehicles on the lot to maintain an organized and attractive display
Prepare vehicles for customer test drives including fueling cleaning and staging
Wash vacuum and detail vehicles as needed
Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged priced and merchandised
Assist sales consultants with vehicle delivery preparation
Perform routine inspections and report damage or maintenance needs
Keep lot showroom and delivery areas clean and presentable
Support vehicle inventory management including receiving new vehicles
Drive vehicles to and from service body shop or off-site locations as required
Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to stand walk and move vehicles for extended periods
Dependable punctual and team-oriented attitude
Previous dealership or porter experience preferred but not required
