Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering or possession of a relevant professional qualification.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a techno-management IT and/or business project management role with broad knowledge of IT.
Strong working experience with project management tools such as EPM MS Project etc. and ERP tools such as SAP.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in the principles methods techniques and tools for effective project management from initiation through implementation including but not limited to PRINCE2 and PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Possesses knowledge of IT projects business operations and business skills across more than one business sector with an understanding of the importance of commercial constraints.
Experience in applying defined quality standards to all tasks to ensure deliverables are accurate complete and meet required specifications.
Holds management or professional responsibility and has received training in data and business analysis methods and techniques.
Demonstrates high standards of professional behavior in interactions with clients colleagues and staff.
Is familiar with the Qatargas IT strategy policies and standards as well as relevant industry regulations and constraints.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create manage and maintain a robust set of reports related to demand including its influence and impact on the operating model.
Facilitate project investment appraisals using an agreed investment appraisal approach and ensure decisions are properly documented.
Produce planned and updated project program or portfolio reports including detailed cost breakdowns and summaries.
Provide administrative support to project boards project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
Report program and portfolio progress to senior management and ensure post-implementation plans and ownership are in place after go-live so that planned benefits are fully realized.
Provide detailed guidance on project management processes procedures tools and techniques including guidance on individual project proposals and plans.
Maintain spreadsheets and project management software to develop detailed work breakdown structures and project networks and produce planned and updated project and summary reports including cost breakdowns and summaries.
Support project control steering committees and project execution teams and facilitate quality review meetings.
Administer project and program change control to ensure deliverables are completed within the agreed scope cost and timeline.
Maintain project performance metrics data and estimating models; review these models and recommend improvements where necessary.
