Heres What You Need
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Nursing Diploma required
BSN is preferred
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
One-year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program.
One year or more of GYN Antepartum Womens Services RN experience strongly preferred
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
Fetal monitoring (EFM) knowledge and experience is preferred
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

The Womens Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth a MAGNET and Texas 10-Step facility and Maternal Level IV designated facility
Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45AM-7:15PM) for 36 hours/week withWeekend and holiday requirements

Womens Services (GYN/Antepartum) 27-bed unit combining GYN High Risk Antepartum Breast surgery and Postpartum patients
Provide care to GYN post-surgical patients - variety of surgeries to include hysterectomies breast surgeries; Postpartum (NICU moms) and Antepartum patients (all gestation levels)
