Environmental Compliance Manager

What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and permits (i.e. RCRA Clean Air Act Clean Water Act EPCRA TSCA etc.).
  • Be the site expert in environmental compliance and company liaison during interactions with state and federal agencies.
  • Drive a proactive safety culture through training coaching and employee engagement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure timely resolution with root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven ability to lead and influence EHS initiatives in industrial or manufacturing settings preferable in hazardous waste.
  • Strong knowledge of EPA RCRA OSHA and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong technical knowledge to prepare reports analyze data.
  • Skilled in conducting audits training and incident investigations.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Requires 1 to 5 years experience in environmental health safety or engineering.

Work Environment

This role involves both office and field work including time spent at a GRR fully permitted hazardous waste treatment storage and disposal facility. Travel to various company locations may be required. The position may involve exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions.
