We are currently recruiting:
A Ceremonies Officer to work at Preston Registration Office. This is a permanent role and you will work 37 hours per week. This will include some evening/weekend and bank holiday cover.
The role is to:
Manage the organisation and provision of ceremonies for the Lancashire Registration Service through its registration offices religious buildings and other approved premises within the local authority.
To contribute to the provision of a professional registration and ceremonies service within the local area and across the County as a whole.
Be responsible for the leadership management and development of the Ceremonies Support Office team.

The Registration Service creates accurate and timely records of all Births Still-Births Deaths Marriages and Civil Partnerships and makes provision for couples to give notice of their intention to marry or to form a Civil Partnership.
Your new role:
We are looking for someone who is customer focussed confident using digital resources and committed to effective team working. You will have supervision experience with the skills to manage and motivate a team of staff and provide technical advice and support.
You will also need to communicate effectively with a range of audiences have excellent organisational skills have the ability to work independently and manage resources.
