These roles will focus on teaching activities across both undergraduate and postgraduate units. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about developing and empowering our growing student cohort through excellent learning and teaching. Two roles are currently available in this round: one in international management and one in organisational behaviour. Candidates without direct teaching experience in either international business or organisational behaviour are discouraged from applying in this round.
Continuing (Defined Periods) Academic Employment is used when the University identifies work needed for specific teaching periods within a calendar year. This employment type encompasses defined working (paid) and non-working (unpaid) periods aligned with teaching commitments. Continuing (Defined Periods) Employment is ongoing and part-time and will be offered for a minimum of 0.6 FTE during a defined working period. The fraction can be adjusted through a change of fraction form for a teaching period up to a maximum of 1 FTE throughout the duration of the defined working period and up to a maximum of 40 weeks within a calendar year. Continuing (Defined Periods) Academic Employment is an alternative to sessional employment and provides a more secure mode of employment certainty of work and the opportunity for professional development and career progression.
