Overview
** Per Diem ** Seeking Neonal Nurse Practioners for in the Heart of Kansas - Apply Today!
Responsibilities
- Both Day/Night Shfits Available: 8 Hour Day Shifts and 16 Hour Night Shifts
- Level III NICU
- Wesley Medical Center is the main regional perinatal center for the state of Kansas outside the Kansas City area
- Our midlevels are responsible for patient care for the nicu ( our census averages 52) and delivery room coverage of the main labor and delivery area plus the Birthing Center across the street.
- We staff 3 neonatologists and 3 midlevels on the 8-hour day shift and 1 neo and three midlevels at night. Typical patient load is 8-10 per shift. No transport duties or call from home is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years experience.
- NNP Certified
- Must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Nursing
- Active KS license or Eligible for Compact License
Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
