The Transition Accelerator (TA) is INGs crosssectoral business incubator dedicated to mobilising capital to scale up new sustainable technologies and markets. We support clients whose solutions are driving the transition to a lowcarbon circular and naturepositive economy and we help build markets that are not yet business as usual.
We focus on four key themes:
Clean Mobility EV charging networks fleet electrification and enabling infrastructure
Industrial Innovation electrification of heat energy and resource efficiency industrial carbon capture and lowcarbon baseload solutions
Sustainable Materials circular plastics and metals recycling technologies advanced and biobased materials
Nature-Based Infrastructure nature-based carbon removal and climateresilient green infrastructure
Our approach is productagnostic and handson. We originate structure and execute a wide range of advisory and financing solutions whichever tools best support scalable impact.
Your Role
As an Analyst/Associate in the Transition Accelerator team you will play a key role in both origination and execution. Your work will include:
- Analysis and Structuring
- Conducting financial modelling market and credit analysis and assessing bankability of earlystage and first-of-a-kind opportunities
- Supporting the structuring of a wide spectrum of financing solutions tailored to emerging technologies and business models
- Transaction Execution
- Preparing internal materials for commercial greenlight and credit approvals
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders across risk legal tax product teams Sector Coverage and SSG country teams
- Supporting execution processes endtoend ensuring smooth and timely closing of mandates
- Market and Proposition Development
- Monitoring technology policy and market developments to identify new opportunities
- Contributing to the development of new propositions investment approaches and marketshaping concepts
- Building knowledge and insights across TAs thematic verticals
- Collaboration and Engagement
- Working closely with colleagues from Sector Coverage Sustainability and Products to ensure aligned commercial efforts
- Engaging with clients ecosystem players and external partners to help position ING at the forefront of emerging sustainable markets

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to structure complex information

The ability to work effectively in a fastpaced international and multidisciplinary environment
Experience in project finance corporate finance renewable energy carbon markets or industrial technologies is an advantage but a learning mindset and intellectual agility are equally important.
