As a Data Engineer you will be a key player in our team responsible for the design development and maintenance of our data systems. As a core member of our data team you will own and maintain the data platform that supports all our analytics-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design construct test and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existingstructures.
- Work with messaging systems and data pipelines.
- Employ a variety of technologies and tools to marry systems together.
- Drive the improvements on data reliability efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of software engineering experience.
- 1 years of experience in production environments as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Degree in Computer Science IT or similar field; a Masters is a plus.
- Understanding of general data engineering and distributed system principles.
- Experience with streaming data processing frameworks such as Apache Flink or Spark
- Solid background working in a SDLC with a standard programming language (e.g. Java Python).
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design.
- Experience with messaging systems and data pipelines.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka Google BigQuery PubSub and the GCP ecosystem.
- Experience in data mining data cleaning and data management.
- Previous experience in the Contact Center industry.
