Summary
An SAP Consultant is responsible for designing implementing and supporting SAP solutions to optimize business processes across finance supply chain human resources and other enterprise functions. This role focuses on gathering business requirements configuring SAP modules and providing guidance to ensure efficient and effective use of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze and document business requirements to design SAP solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Configure SAP modules (e.g. SAP FICO SD MM HCM or others) according to business needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders functional teams and technical developers to implement solutions.
Conduct system testing data migration and validation to ensure accurate SAP functionality.
Provide support for SAP applications troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
Develop and maintain SAP documentation including functional specifications configuration guides and process workflows.
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices security policies and internal controls.
Participate in SAP upgrades enhancements and integration projects.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on SAP processes and functionality.
Stay updated with SAP product updates modules and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes using SAP.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation configuration or support.
Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to the organizations requirements.
Experience with SAP configuration workflows data migration and reporting.
Knowledge of ERP systems business processes and technical SAP tools.

Preferred Skills / Duties

SAP certification in relevant modules (FICO SD MM HCM etc.) is highly desirable.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA SAP Cloud Platform or SAP Fiori is a plus.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Experience in project management and working in Agile or hybrid environments.
Familiarity with integration of SAP with other enterprise applications and third-party tools.
