Are you a self-starter who possesses integrity and a willingness to learn and improve Do you enjoy working in a plant environment We are seeking an Operations Technician to join our operations team in Chandler AZ Chandler facility has 6 ASU plants 2 liquefiers and a Nitrogen pipeline delivery system. Your responsibilities include the day-to-day safe operation of the plants and the sites systems/equipment along with aligning with all EH&S standards to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within their area of responsibility and to perform work duties in accordance with Quality Systems Manual procedures safety policies and site-specific requirements.

The plant operator will be responsible for the day-to-day safe operation of the facilitys operating equipment and production processes in compliance with all EH&S standards. While achieving a zero (0) lost time injury record perform work duties in accordance with company quality systems safety policies and site-specific procedures. You will also be responsible for monitoring daily production processes to ensure reliability efficiency and productivity goals are met.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and adjust plant process conditions using various valves and operating equipment
• Maintain and electronic logbook of operation activities
• Fixing plant process upsets using various indicators and DCS trends
• Calibrate/Operate multiple process and pipeline analyzers
• Handle daily routines to include water treatment equipment inspection and log sheet readings
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain online training program requirements
• Issue safety work permits and perform lock out / tag out of various process equipment
• Fill trailers and support the product load line
• Inspect all work areas on a continuous basis for any mechanical problems safety hazards and unusual operation conditions. Keep work and supply areas in a safe clean and orderly condition

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb ladders steps lift up to 50 lbs. and work in all weather conditions
• Be available during mandatory call-in requirements as needed
• This is a safety sensitive position

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of operations experience and/or 2-year degree in Process Technology
• Military experience a plus
• Electrical instrument or mechanical maintenance experience a plus
• Ability to read/understand piping and instrumentation drawings a plus
• Experience with personal computers and/or DCS systems

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
• Must be able to work on-call rotations
