POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an EHRT Programmer to support manufacturing operations by programming and optimizing automated equipment including 3- to 6-axis machinery punch and bending systems. This role is responsible for interpreting engineering prints creating and modifying machine programs and ensuring programs meet production quality and safety requirements. The EHRT Programmer works closely with engineering production and quality teams to support efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop edit and optimize machine programs for 3- to 6-axis equipment including punch and bending operations.
Interpret and apply engineering drawings blueprints and specifications to create accurate machine programs.
Set up test and validate programs to ensure proper operation part accuracy and repeatability.
Troubleshoot programming and process issues to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
Maintain and update program files documentation and revision records.
Collaborate with engineering tooling and production teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
Ensure programming activities comply with safety quality and production standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to programming efficiency cycle time reduction and scrap reduction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / MUST HAVES
High School Diploma or GED.
Demonstrated experience programming 3- to 6-axis equipment including punch or bending machinery.
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and technical drawings.
Basic computer literacy including use of programming software and standard office applications.
Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software required.
Strong problem solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field.
Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Familiarity with CNC controls tooling and fixtures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and equipment.
Frequent standing walking and use of computer workstations.
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
