Job Summary
Clinic Medical Assistant (Full-Time)
Specialty Clinic EPIC EMR MondayFriday
A busy specialty clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role is best suited for a confident MA who is comfortable rooming patients performing clinical tasks independently and managing patient communication in a fast-paced environment.
This position may include occasional travel to outreach clinics with mileage reimbursement provided.
Compensation
Starting pay: $16.50 per hour with higher pay based on experience
Schedule & Benefits
MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
No nights or weekends

Key Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs including manual blood pressures
Perform EKGs and document results appropriately
Pre-chart patient information in EPIC EMR
Prepare exam rooms and support providers during patient visits
Return patient phone calls and communicate clinical information as directed
Schedule hospital procedures and coordinate patient care
Maintain medical equipment and clinical supplies
Perform additional administrative duties as needed
Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent medical office experience
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant
Proven experience with vital signs EKGs and patient rooming
Prior experience using EPIC EMR (preferred)
Strong communication skills and a professional bedside manner
Reliable detail-oriented and able to work independently
Additional Details
May travel to outreach clinics on occasion
Mileage reimbursement provided
