What Youll Lead and Contribute To

We are looking for a Leader with a growth mindset an appetite for Business Development strong Commercial Acumen and a passion for People Leadership to lead our Transport Land and Water Service Group. Reporting through to our WA&NT Regional Managing Director and working closely with the broader Leadership Team and adjacent service groups you will shape the Aurecon experience for our team by ensuring a future of work that is engaging supportive and inspiring for our people profitable for Aurecon and beneficial to the clients and communities we operate in. You will lead a team of initially 80 people across the Transport Land and Water sectors delivering exceptional client experiences while expanding our services and geographical footprint throughout the region.

We are expecting to see solid growth across multiple local markets which will present opportunities for growth particularly across Water Rail and Roads.

As Service Group Leader here are the key things you will do:

• Maintain and leverage a strong industry network with demonstrated relationships with relevant client organisations and construction partners to attract business to Aurecon and champion the Aurecon brand in market

• Collaborate with the Market Managing Directors Industry Directors Industry Leaders and Client Leaders to secure our pipeline of work and grow market share

• Oversee the service group project portfolio ensuring client satisfaction project quality and compliance with Aurecon standards

• Partnering with the WA & NT leadership team to support commercial and financial management of the regional business

• Seek and support implementation of business improvement opportunities such as offshoring automation quality safety and sustainability

• Promote team engagement inclusion personal development and connectionacross the team

• Significant infrastructure project delivery and leadership experience in Western Australia

• Experience developing and leading diverse inclusive teams to achieve exceptional outcomes

• Management of commercial risk quality control project teams and continuous improvement

• Effective skills in Business development and a high level of commercial acumen

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence communicate and build trust at all levels

• The ability to collaborate across geographic and cultural boundaries fostering a supportive and team-oriented culture
