Senior Trader Prediction Markets | Experienced Hire

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong trader with deep expertise in prediction markets and real-time modeling. The ideal candidate combines strong trading intuition robust statistical and programming skills and the ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured high-quality models that drive profitable decision-making.

What youll do

• Design and develop complex models to generate real-time fair values for intricate uncertain domains (e.g. weather event-driven outcomes or probabilistic systems)
• Identify edge cases structural pitfalls and modeling risks proactively addressing them to ensure robustness and operational stability
• Assess data needs and sourcing strategies determining what inputs are required for accurate forecasting and collaborating with relevant teams to acquire them
• Build initial model prototypes in Python using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy and partner closely with developers to productionize these models for real-world trading
• Monitor validate and iterate on production models ensuring strong performance and continuously improving predictive accuracy and trading outcomes
• Identify evaluate and execute market-take opportunities arising from model insights and prediction-market dynamics
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize trading strategies enhance infrastructure and scale automated decision-making

• Strong understanding of trading concepts decision science and probabilistic reasoning
• Extensive experience with prediction markets including market structure pricing mechanics and liquidity dynamics
• Proficiency in Python with deep working knowledge of Pandas and NumPy
• Ability to think critically about uncertainty model assumptions and real-world edge cases
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with traders developers and data teams
