About the Role
Were looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Technology team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering youll lead and mentor front-end and back-end developers own technical direction and work closely with Product and QA to design build and deliver reliable secure systems that consistently create real value for customers.
What Youll Do
- Oversee Front-End and Back-End developers
- Monitor system reliability performance and security
- Conduct regular check-ins with Engineering team members
- Assist in rolling out and defining internal systems and policy
- Align squad-based goals with Engineering and Product objectives
- Assist in debugging code issues and fixing problematic code and architecture problems
- Taking point on technical design of solutions
- Collaborate with Product and QA peers to deliver value to customers
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in the Saas space
- Education or training in computer science or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience leading an engineering team
- Experience with Ruby and or React
- Strengths in communication collaboration organization etc.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-moving environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally; valid passport with no travel restrictions (Canada/USA; Vietnam if required)
Compensation: $105000.00$145000.00 CAD per year
This role requires working onsite in our Cambridge office two days per week.
