What Youll Be Doing
- Operate roof bolting and drilling equipment safely and efficiently in underground quarry operations
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling machinery
- Monitor ground conditions and install roof support systems as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and productive work practices
- Document work activities and report any hazards or equipment issues
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment in underground environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognition
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing site conditions
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level
What We Offer
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate.
