WORK SCHEDULE

40 or 36 hours per week

Day Evening or Night Shift

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures; obtain assemble and arrange sterile instruments and supplies used for surgical procedures; perform scrub role; and maintain patient safety throughout perioperative care.

Use effective communication skills to enhance teamwork and customer service; and be flexible and proactive to support an efficient and effective surgical environment.

Inherent to success in this position is organization desire to work in a team-oriented academic medical setting capability to stay abreast of current developments relevant to the position strong interpersonal and communication skills and knowledge of the duties of a Surgical Technologist.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Take the lead in the patient care experience by prepping and maintaining our Operating Rooms for surgical procedures

Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and partners from our scheduling team to surgeons

Work in a dynamic fast-paced problem-solving environment while maintaining vigilance of instruments and supplies used during surgical procedures

Perform scrub role while supporting patient safety a sterile environment

Support of post-operative tasks including removal of contaminated instruments decontamination sterilization and turnover of the Operating Room

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of a Surgical Technologist program AND one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment OR equivalent education/experience.

LEGAL REQUIREMENT

Registered by the State of Washington as a Surgical Technologist or licensed in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse Registered Nurse or Physician.

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$73176.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$104748.00 annual

Other Compensation:

$10000 Sign-On Bonus Night Shift Premium - $2.50/hour; Evening Shift Premium - $1.75/hour; Weekend Shift Premium - $2.25/hour Certification Premium - $1.25/hour
