We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic AMS Solutions leader for North America. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development of complex ATM Managed Services (AMS) solutions for prospective and expanding clients across North America. This role is focused on solution developmentfrom initial concept through detailed design commercial structuring and progression to migration readiness. You will work across multiple teams coordinating resources within different functional areas to assemble the components of an ATM Managed Services solution into a custom-tailored solution to fit Brinks customer needs.
The Director partners closely with Brinks Sales in North America with the Global AMS Product team and with peers in the AMS Solutions organization. You will work directly with senior leaders at some of Brinks largest banking customers. Within Brinks you will lead the work of Operations Cash Management IT Security Finance Legal and external technology partners to translate customer requirements into viable scalable and contractually executable AMS solutions. This role does not own long-term operational optimization or ongoing program management after handoff to delivery and operations teams.
This is a highly visible and important role within Brinks North America. It reports directly to the VP AMS Solutions Development and serves as the primary North American solution architect supporting growth initiatives RFPs and strategic pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Commercial Structuring
Lead end-to-end solution development for AMS opportunities from qualification through migration readiness.
Engage Brinkss largest bank customers at the highest level within the organization to translate client requirements into detailed executable multi-vendor AMS solutions.
Present solutions to customers including senior leadership.
Coordinate development of operational models service scope SLAs KPIs monitoring security and compliance frameworks across teams from multiple Brinks functional areas.
Build solution assumptions dependencies risks and mitigations.
Support full financial models in collaboration with Finance including pricing margin and investment requirements.
Support contract structuring and commercial negotiations alongside Legal and Sales.
Sales & Customer Engagement
Working with Business Development and Sales teams serve as the primary solution lead in complex sales cycles RFPs RFIs and strategic client pursuits.
Act as a trusted technical and operational advisor to customers.
Lead solution workshops discovery sessions and executive presentations.
Partner with Sales leadership to position Brinks AMS capabilities competitively.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate solution inputs across Product IT Security Operations PMO and vendor partners.
Ensure solution feasibility and delivery alignment with internal execution teams.
Drive internal governance reviews and approvals.
Maintain strict discipline around scope dependencies timelines and readiness criteria.
Transition to Delivery
Together with PMO lead solution handoff into Project Delivery and Global AMS Operations.
Ensure full documentation training readiness transition planning and risk visibility.
Support early-stage migration planning and readiness validation.
Exit the engagement at formal migration readiness milestone unless otherwise required.
Regional & Global Collaboration
Serve as the North American solution development counterpart to global AMS solution leaders.
Participate in global solution standardization innovation sharing and best-practice development.
Support limited cross-regional pursuits as required.
Experience and Qualifications
Executive-level communication and presentation capabilities. This role requires someone with a polished executive presence.
Bachelors degree required
8-10 years of experience in ATM Managed Services payments infrastructure or complex financial services operations.
Deep understanding of ATM ecosystems cash management monitoring processing encryption networks and regulatory requirements.
5 years in solution architecture product strategy or technical sales leadership.
Proven ability to structure complex multi-vendor AMS solutions.
Strong commercial financial and risk modeling acumen.
Experience supporting North American financial institutions required.
Ability to operate in a highly matrixed global organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in ATM switching services and/or ATM managed services operations.
Proven ability to drive profitability and operational enhancements in a managed services environment.
Experience with global account management and program launch processes.
Experience in international business operations and familiarity with vendor management in multiple regions.
Background in technology-driven operational transformation including automation and system enhancements.
