Job Description
We are seeking an experiencedLandscape Estimatorto join our team. This role is responsible for accurately estimating landscape projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of plants materials and landscape installation practices along with hands-on landscape experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for landscape construction and maintenance projects
- Review plans specifications and site conditions to determine labor material and equipment needs
- Perform site visits and takeoffs as required
- Use estimating software or spreadsheets to develop bids and proposals
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure scope accuracy
- Maintain organized records of estimates and project costs
- Assist with value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
Qualifications
- Proven experience estimating landscape projects
- Strong plant knowledge including trees shrubs and groundcovers
- Basic landscape skills and understanding of installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
