Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Austria we are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Data Centre team in Vienna.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex projects and programs as a client interface
- Developing working relationships problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- Managing the design process to achieve the clients requirements and manage expectations
- Reviewing project plans and specifications scheduling costs saving measures discrepancies potential construction problems etc.
- Managing project safety and environmental requirements
- Managing project timelines risks and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
- Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery
- Working closely with project team/s to ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documents
Qualifications :
- Degree in a Construction Management a related field
- Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure HVAC Electrical Generators Fire Security and BMS
- Professional/tertiary qualification in project management engineering or construction
- A minimum of 5 years project management experience gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle from project inception stage design authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review
- Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts tools and techniques
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure fast paced environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
Additional Information :
The minimum collective agreement salary (as per Austrian Collective Agreement) for this position 53487 gross per year. However we would like to explicitly point out that overpayment is planned in accordance with your expertise and professional experience.
